AppChat in the portal
AppChat (In-App Chat) is Engagive’s channel for chat inside your product — website widget and native Flutter SDK — operated from the same portal account.
Not the WhatsApp Public API
AppChat visitors use the widget / visitor API and signed identify tokens. WhatsApp business REST under Public API — WhatsApp is a different integration surface.

Before you start

Automations on AppChat
Message received/sent triggers and send text/template actions work on AppChat the same way as WhatsApp. Start from Automations or nodes such as trigger.appchat_message_received.
