Email (SMTP & Gmail)
The Email: send node can use an SMTP credential or a Google connection with Gmail enabled.
Connect SMTP
- Open Automations → Integrations
- Add an Email / SMTP connection with host, port, user, and password as the form requires
- Test the connection, then pick it on Email: send
Prefer Gmail?
Connect Google (Sheets first), then Enable Gmail — details in Google integration. Use that Google credential on Email: send.
Configure the node
Set credential, to, subject, body (text or html), and optional cc / bcc / reply-to / from when your provider supports them. Expressions can pull contact fields from upstream.
Troubleshoot
| Symptom | Fix |
|---|---|
| SMTP auth failed | Check host/port/TLS and app password; Test the credential on Integrations. |
| Gmail scope / reconnect | Enable Gmail on the Google row or reconnect Google with Gmail. |
| Message rejected / invalid from | Use a From address your SMTP or Gmail account is allowed to send as. |
